Original Deerington Application

• Link to Accepted Deerington Application: Here.
• Additional Adjustments to include:

Sam Winchester originally came into [community profile] deerington as a possessed 30-something year old man from the alternate timeline known as Endverse, in which Lucifer possessed him and then wiped out most of humanity. He is still technically that very person...! But while in Deerington, he and his band of friends/family helped him formulate a spell that would de-age him back to before Lucifer had possession of his body. The spell succeeded! But... Sam was accidentally deaged very far back, and is now currently a 14-year-old verson of himself, long before the Endverse happens.

So he is, in fact, still that Sam that had so sadly stumbled in fron 5x03. While he is 14 now, the spell on him will eventually fade out completely, and he will revert back (via canon update if preferred, or just suddenly, like the end of an player event) to his 31-year-old self, Lucifer included. I know, I know, I like to make things complicated. See his prior application for all the information regarding his old self! It is also good to note here that Sam is very much aware of his terrible future and is determined to become someone better in Trench.

I have notes on his current journal, letting people know the weirdness going on here. :|

Character Personality Through Key Moments

(2+) Positive Experiences:
- As this is technically 14-year-old Sam, I will try to use experiences that fall into this earlier age, but it does also apply to his older self as well! The first big positive experience he had was his meeting Mr. Wyatt, a teacher at one of the many schools he'd visited; he was the first adult to genuinely ask him what he'd wanted out of life, and it had left a huge impression on Sam, as he'd felt maybe he could be something more than a hunter in his adulthood. While things didn't, uh... pan out that way, this moment was crucial in helping shape Sam Winchester as he was, before all of that evil refound him again.
- Another positive experience was giving his brother the amulet he'd saved for their father for Christmas. While Christmas itself was a nightmarish situation (see negative experiences), it had also proven to be one of the defining moments in his life where he realized that Dean was more reliable than his father — this shares a similar positive moment with the July 4th he had shared with Dean, in which his brother was willing to do something their father wouldn't have, and give Sam a more festive, joyful holiday while John was out. Basically, it was a lesson for him that, even when things were exceptionally bad, Dean would pull through for him. Bless.
(2+) Negative Experiences:
- Learning about the supernatural. Boy, that Christmas sucked. Finding your father's journal, detailing that he hunted and killed real, genuine monsters? Learning that your mother died from them? That's not an easy pill to swallow. Whatever was left of Sam's childhood innocence (which wasn't much, mind you) had gone away with that realization. Not only that, but he'd lost a lot of faith in his father as well, noting sadly that he had left them (for what Sam will later determine is his obsession: finding the thing that killed mom).
- Another negative experience is... hunting in general. Welcome to the real world, Sammy! Here's a gun, let's to salt some corpses.
Yeah, once he'd learned the truth about hunting, he had become a hunter in training, which meant launching himself into dangerous situations and learning things no child should ever know. He was about twelve years old, running into burning buildings, and his father had on more than one occasion got it into his head that any loss of life could be because of their mistakes. No pressure, there. Predictably, this lifestyle has left a pretty ugly mark on Sam's mental wellbeing, considering he was shooting ghosts and looking at dead bodies before he even started high school.

Deer Country Attributes

• Canon Powers: He has no canon powers (that he's aware of, really) at the age of 14. He is going to eventually be canon updated back to his older Endverse self in the distant future, in which he will be possessed by Lucifer and develop powers from that as he had when he was initially apped into [community profile] deerington, but that's not for some time. He just hunts decently, can use guns and other weapons very well, and his trained in hand-to-hand combat.
• Blood Type: Paleblood
• Omen: A black goat named Phillis. (No relation to Black Phillip.)
• Blessed Day: May 2nd
• Patron Pthumerian: Bausphomette
• Blood Power Manifestation: Much like his future self from S1 and S2, he will have the ability to see into the future through both his dreams and sometimes through his waking life. They will be short, fast, and often lead to unpleasant migraines, much like canon. Wahoo!
